Hope Leadership Academy Year 1

Year 1 of The Hope Leadership Academy is intensive training for your school team.

✓ Four full day sessions with experienced facilitators in the field of character education

✓ One administrator session

✓ One site visit to a school that successfully implements character education

✓ Collaboration time for school teams

✓ Starter library of character books and access to digital resources

✓ Peer networking with teams

✓ Individualized consulting

✓ Collaboration on focused character goal setting

✓ PLU or PD clock hours awarded for completion of all sessions

***Early Bird Discount*** Register by May 31, 2024 and receive a $400 discount off of Year 1 registration.

***$4600 for a team of four until May 31, 2024***

$5000 for a team of four
additional per person fee for more team members


In 2024-2025, Year 1 will be offered at three sites:

Birmingham @ The Vestavia Hills Civic Center

Mobile @ University of South Alabama

Troy @ Troy University

Each school team will consist of 4 team members. At least one team member should be a school administrator. In the options below, you are able to add up to 2 additional team members for an additional fee. If you would like more than 6 team members, please register for two separate teams.

You will be contacted before the first session to designate the team members from your school. The team members should remain the same throughout all sessions. We will not be able to accommodate switching team members.

Year 3 of The Hope Leadership Academy completes your Year 1 and Year 2 experience with collaboration and effective practices.

✓ Opportunity to host site visit

✓ Activities to deepen the school’s level of implementation and fine-tune learning with optional support

✓ Continued additions to character library and access to digital resources

✓ Continue with implementation plan support and refining

✓ PLU or PD clock hours awarded for completion of all sessions

$3000 for a team of four
additional per person fee for more team members

 **In order to register for Year 3, your school should have already completed Year 2.**


In 2024-2025, Year 3 will be offered at tHREE sites:

Birmingham @ The Vestavia Hills Civic Center

North Alabama @ Athens State University

West Alabama @ University of Alabama Bryant Conference Center

✓ PLU or PD clock hours awarded for completion of all sessions

additional per person fee for more team members

Year 3 Event #2 - Showcasing Initiatives and Practices

Year 3 of The Hope Leadership Academy provides opportunities to enhance your school’s established character culture.

This Year 3 session will include successful practices in character education being implemented in local schools as well as a review of Character.org’s Promising Practice application and an opportunity to discuss recognition for your school.

12:30-3:00 Hope Institute staff facilitated next steps planning

Each school can register as many individual participants for this training as they’d like. A registration form must be completed for each individual.
